Specialized Sirrus 1 Review
The Specialized Sirrus 1.0 2022 is an affordable hybrid bike with a light and strong aluminium frame, Shimano 7-speed drivetrain and fast-rolling tyres. It’s the ideal machine for urban riding and is also suited to casual off-road use.
Astonishingly, I was able to gain access to this product! Most websites don’t allow it, but the Specialized Sirrus web portal welcome me with open arms. I read several reviews and watched videos on youtube featuring this product. To be honest, the Specialized Sirrus is really the first road bike that I have ever used. I love the adjustable seat post because my bottom has a tendency to get sore after long rides. I have tested several bikes before such as Schwinn and Mongoose, but they are simply not in the same caliber as this product. The lightweight aluminium alloy frame makes for a smooth ride during every commute. This is hands down my favorite feature about this extraordinary product. The components used on the Specialized Sirrus 1.0 2022 is of superior quality.
Entry Level Road Orientated Hybrid Bike
The Specialized Sirrus is a 1.0-level bike which means it is ideal for entry level riders who want to compete in races or leisurely rides through the city. This bike has an aluminium frame, allowing it to remain lightweight and good for the sporty, fast paced riding that you want. As well as the light frame, this bike also comes with Shimano mechanical disc brakes. This is one of the most common types of brake setups found on bikes and is among the easiest to use. Braking duties are handled by TRP HyRd disc brakes which are combined with 160mm rotors to help you stay safe in almost all conditions. A lightweight and reliable wheelset drives this bike, while also keeping them moving quickly with Specialized rims that are paired with puncture resistant tyres. You’ll be able to ride confidently even in wet conditions thanks to the fender eyelets found on both the front and rear wheels so that the spray that hits your face can be directed away from it!

Specialized Sirrus 1 Review Summary:
As a no frills offering from Specialized the Sirrus 1 comes with a solid frame, offering surprisingly lightweight frame for the price. The gears, chain, brackets and pedals are not going to get you to the tour de France, but for the price point this is a great starter bike for someone looking for a speedy road bike without breaking the bank.
We have been riding the Specialized Sirrus 1 for a few weeks and it is a nice smooth ride, its form factor enables good speeds on the flat as well as enough gear power to take to load off on most hills we have encountered.
We have to give the bike a 4 out of 5 – We come to this review summary based on owning the bike, its value for money and its ability to be faster than expected. As we have said, this is no competition level road bike but for a road orientated hybrid bike it makes for a great commuter bike and one for the weekend cyclists, of which there are plenty who would be proud to own the Specialized Sirrus 1.
